PHONE LIST
An initiative by Maja Seegert
She wrote: "I would very much like a phone list of pullouters.
Everybody who is interested in practicing on the phone could be included. They could determine certain days of the week if they wish, or leave it open. Being on the list would carry no obligations, the purpose is only to signal that the person on the other end of the line is interested in practicing." (Pullouter is a new slang word in the stuttering community. It designates a person who resists the use of his old automatic reactions to stuttering by pulling out of a block.)
This list is not only available to "my" alumni, but to graduates of similar therapy programs as well.
You will find the names and phone numbers on the German page [Ehemalige].
If you are interested in posting your name on the list, please give me
1. your complete name, 2. your phone number(s), 3. a statement when you want to take calls / you are best reachable (e.g. "Call on weekends 9 a.m. thru 10 p.m." or "Don't call during my siesta 1 thru 3 p.m."), and 4. the permission to post this information and your E-mail address.
Re confidentiality: I suggest that we just try it. If we find that there is some abuse / misuse I can remove the list anytime.
